LongShot

Scrolling screenshots for iPhone

Record your scroll.
Get one long screenshot.

LongShot captures what you scroll through — a WeChat conversation, a long article, a receipt, a settings page — and stitches it into a single full-resolution long image, saved straight to your Photos.

How it works

① In the app you want to capture, open Control Center, long-press Screen Recording, and choose LongShot to start the broadcast. ② Scroll slowly and steadily, in either direction. ③ Stop the broadcast from Control Center. ④ Come back to LongShot: the long image is stitched automatically and saved to Photos. No editing, no seam-fixing, no export dance.

Why it feels different

iOS does not let third-party apps scroll other apps for you, so LongShot uses Apple's broadcast capture — the closest thing to Android-style scrolling screenshots that iOS allows. Fixed on-screen bars (like a chat input field) are detected and kept exactly once, at the bottom of the image, not repeated on every screen.
